The Shed is coming soon!
We are delighted to let you know that our application was approved by the Local Review Body on the 17th September 2026. This is a major milestone for the project and one that simply would not have been possible without the incredible support we received from so many people across East Lothian and beyond.
As part of the approval, 13 conditions have been attached to the consent. While there is still work to do, we are committed to working through each of these requirements and progressing the project as quickly and responsibly as possible.
From the very beginning, we believed that The Shed could create a fantastic new space for sport, fitness, wellbeing and community activity in East Lothian and we are now one step closer to making that vision a reality.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us, completed surveys, shared our story, wrote letters, and encouraged friends and family to get involved.
We will continue to keep you updated via our website and social media as the project progresses, but for now we wanted to share this exciting news and thank you all for your support so far...
