We are seeking your support for a proposal to create East Lothian's first padel courts at Athelstaneford Mains Farm. Having farmed at Athelstaneford since 1931, the Logan family is looking to diversify alongside its existing farming activities by introducing a modern, accessible sporting facility that will support health and wellbeing, create local employment opportunities, and encourage investment in the rural economy.
The proposal is to construct a new agricultural-style building housing two indoor padel courts, providing a year-round, all-weather facility for people of all ages and abilities. The building has been carefully designed to sit alongside an existing farm shed and will be identical in appearance, ensuring it complements the character of the farm and surrounding landscape. With the nearest padel courts currently located in Edinburgh, this development would bring one of the UK's fastest-growing sports to East Lothian for the first time, creating new opportunities for local residents, schools, community groups and visitors to get active and stay connected.
If you would like to see this exciting project become a reality, please add your details below and show your support.
